Penn Township has been notified that Walmart South/North is experiencing a temporary issue with their vendor system related to our trash bag service. They currently have a limited supply and are soon to run out of Penn Township refuse bags. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope they have their system ready to receive replacement supplies soon. Our hope is they will have this situation resolved quickly.

WATER LINE SURVEY
From the Hanover Borough Water Department:
"As part of a PA DEP mandate, the Borough of Hanover has until October 16, 2024 to provide an inventory of all water service lines... Recently, the Borough completed its efforts to locate, isolate and remove lead from the supplier side of the system.
Now, we're reaching out directly to you with actionable steps you can take to help us achieve that goal.
Specifically, we need your help to map the location and material for your water service line (known as “Customer side”). This information is crucial for prioritizing replacement efforts and for controlling future operational costs. If your home was built before 1986, there's a higher chance of you having a lead service line. In order to pursue federal and state funds, to offset the cost to replace lead services, we need to be able to show an accurate accounting of where the lead services reside.
Regardless of your homes age, we are asking that you use the link below and take 5 minutes to complete a simple online survey that will help provide the necessary information to PA DEP.
Our survey can be completed on a desktop PC or it can even be completed with your phone. The Survey 123 app is an easy-to-use mapping-based app that will log your information and allow us to document your water service.
